As the Apartment comes of age we say farewell as she closes her doors.

has replaced the once loved and renowned Apartment.

has replaced the once loved and renowned Apartment.

She was a formidable character who “was born in Ireland, and raised hell in New York. A member of the Dead Rabbit gang who were an infamous Gang of New York in the 1800s.

Maggie left Ireland for a hopeful new future in the land of Dreams and found herself orphaned and a fighter at the ripe age of eight years old. Gentleman Jasper a highly ranked Dead Rabbit decided to recruit her into the gang.

Maggie was an influential gangster involved in the madness and mayhem of the New York Five Points district where she was a noted fighter with reportedly teeth filed into points and claw-like brass fingernails.

The new venue is a warm, welcoming traditional style bar with a range of natural woods, old style finishes and eclectic bric a brac found in original Irish pubs combined with artwork that depicts and celebrates the story of Hell Cat Maggie and her New York history.

Premium products, old favourite tipples, Irish American inspired food and live music the new Hell Cat Maggie’s will offer a blend of all that we love and a taste of something new.
